I am to suggest that the question of passing

the Hong Kong Ordinance, raised by your letter

No.32612 of the 17th. ultimo, might be left in

abeyance until the Law Officers of the Crown have

approved the draft Order in Council. By then it is

probable that the draft Ordinance will have arrived

and been considered.
